Right of Withdrawal
for consumers under §§ 312g, 355 German Civil Code (BGB) · Version 2026-07-06
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us:
Joachim Richter-Steidl
Süderwürden 10, 27570 Bremerhaven, Germany
Email: sales@preblock.io
by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not required.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
If you requested the services to begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the point at which you inform us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared to the full scope of services provided for in the contract.
Refund method by payment type
- Credit / debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, PayPal (Stripe): Refund is issued automatically to the original card or PayPal account. Our processing time: up to 14 days; the credit on your account may take an additional 3-10 business days depending on your issuing bank. Any FX differences on non-EUR cards are borne by the card issuer.
- Bitcoin (BTCPay Server): Refund is issued in EUR via SEPA bank transfer to an account you provide, at the net EUR invoice amount. We do not refund in BTC by default — the intermediate BTC/EUR exchange rate is not considered; the § 22 UStG rate snapshot on the invoice applies. Alternatively, on written request, in BTC to an address you provide at the same EUR equivalent; in that case the exchange-rate risk is yours.
- SEPA bank transfer / SEPA direct debit: Refund via SEPA to the original account.
Early Expiry (§ 356(5) BGB)
The right of withdrawal expires for contracts on the supply of digital content not delivered on a physical medium if:
- we have begun performance of the contract, after
- the consumer has expressly consented that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and
- the consumer has confirmed knowledge that consent causes their right of withdrawal to expire once performance begins.
You give this consent when submitting the inquiry form by ticking the checkbox ("I consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that my right of withdrawal expires once performance begins") or by written email confirmation.
Exclusion of Withdrawal Right
- the free Community tier — no paid contract is concluded
- contracts with entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB)
- individually negotiated Enterprise contracts with separate agreements
